As time goes by,…. that’s an often felt thought during these days, while the best of my sons (my only one, to be precise and that’s the reason to allow that special title
)) ) is already in the starting position. The last schooldays in his life are nearly gone, successful exams and now there are only left all the parties at school with his friends, teachers and parents and his birthday tomorrow. While at the same time waiting for visa for his travel, doing medical checkups and all the little things You need when leaving for nearly a year. It’s fascinating and looking forward to his travel I sometimes think about the congress I’d planned to take part at the World Congress on Medical Law at Sydney in 2004 and to take my son with me then as we did during my speakers activity during the former congresses at Maastricht 2002 and Helsinki 2000. Unfortunately there had been more urgent professional tasks in 2004 and we’d to cancel the travel. I love the idea, some travels find their time when it’s right and I am pretty happy that he’ll do it now and I am looking forward to his impressions, experiences and – of course, I hope so – many many pictures.
It’s such exciting to “travel” around - “www” seems to make the world smaller and locations from the other side of the globe are only one link, one click away from our look at it. Sharing the passion for photography as well as for food I am used to enjoy many blogs and communities and websites, recipes, stories from people all over the globe. Australia landscapes, cities and culture will be great for him, no doubt. And australian kitchen is such fascinating and interesting – I suppose I’d be in paradise if I’d could travel like he’ll gonna do in some weeks, and if I’d be able to have a taste of all those recipes, whether they might be done privately or availble at hotels and restaurants. It’s already such a tasteful travel looking around in some of the numerous blogs and kitchens. I’d like to share some of those inspiring impressions here, I detected during the last days.

Passionated For Sandwich Snacks
Easy done, perfect taste: Mix some fromage frais half and half with yoghurt, salt, black pepper, lemon juice and horseradish for some roasted toast. Chives and smoked salmon or salmon graved art are doing the rest.
Try to experience another spice mix with the fromage frais and yoghurt: just mix it with a little from “Mediterranes Blütenzaubersalz” (Mediterranean Blossom Magic Salt) from Sonnentor - spending a wonderful flavour as well for this cream as for fish, smoked fish, rice, mozzarella and more.

Stoned From Love
Probably there are worse feelings than being stoned from love,
don’t You think so?
Try, and you’ll see.
Little wordplay, mes amis, with one of some new works. I’ve again to apologize for few posts and comments, some works demand for full and more than 100% attention, as well as some other priorities in life, like working for new food creations, manuscript works, my family and “le bac” the best of my sons is actually concerned with, as well as full of his plans for a year at Sydney after the examinations. But from time to time I walk around and have a look to Your wonderful works, foods and sunny illustrations and I have to confess, they make it hard to resist and to stay tuned to work.
))

and more and more and more…..
You like them….. You’ d like to appetize some others too?
All of those works are even available as prints, postcards and more and royalty free license.
Have a look here and here
And by the way:
Let’s twitter 4 those and other actual informations and contact!
Enjoy springtime days, mes amis !

Daily cooking, daily bakery – that’s daily work with appetizing products and photography. But not only with focus on foods. “A picture a day keeps sadness away”. That’s perhaps the best way to describe the intention of a new one, some little one among some more projects of mine for 2009:
“Collet’s 364/2009″
It’s not focused specially on food and products. But they will be there for sure. Beside of food art pictures it’s snap-lighting anything to give a 5-minutes-moment to enjoy and have a break. Perhaps with some florals from dinner deco, with some fresh ingredients and spices, perhaps from market visits, whatever happening to be kept for a daily moment. I am curious where to arrive with it at the end. Hope You like it.

Often I’ve been asked if I couldn’t present my FoodArts as Calendars or other prints in addition to my RFL. Since some years I already offered them as prints and RFL, even internationally thanks to a list of international agencies. But it’s been difficult for many friends of my works to receive them as Calendars and Postcards. Ok, friends, challenges are made for solutions and here’s it: I found a new partnership beside of already existing agencies with REDBUBBLE.
Here You find my first collection of more than hundred works and a collection of new Calendars for 2009. “One more picture a day” – and more than one will be added to this gallery, so enjoy to step in and have look at it and the following new pictures. I hope You like them and don’t hesitate to let me know Your opinion about it. Any questions ? I’m looking forward to answer any of them !!
Have fun and a nice time !
